First off, my credentials:

I’m a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

I completed my Acupuncture and Moxibustion Diploma right here in Toronto at the prestigious Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine.

I have a keen interest in skin rejuvenation and have advanced training in Cosmetic Acupuncture.

In addition to this I actively pursue further education in Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Neurological Scalp Acupuncture.

I also hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and enjoyed a rewarding career in Training & Development and Health & Safety in the Nuclear Isotope Research and Development industry.

What do I love treating?

Nothing gives me more joy than seeing my patients get better. I have enjoyed clinical success in treating:

  • emotional stressors (i.e. stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia)

  • musculoskeletal pain

  • digestive concerns (i.e. constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux, heartburn, nausea and vomiting)

  • headaches and migraines

  • fatigue

  • women’s health (i.e. menstrual concerns and fertility)

My approach to holistic therapy

Through my own lived experience, what I have come to truly believe is that we are each on our own journey through this thing called life. No two people have the same trajectory, no one person can claim to know exactly what another has gone through. We wear our traumas like badges of honor and each experience evolves our personhood at the core.

So when it comes to healing, how can we expect cookie cutter therapies and standardized prescriptions to work for everyone? Shouldn’t our path to recovery be as unique as we are? This is why I am a firm believer of expanding my knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities so I can offer my patients a wide variety of therapies to customize their treatment plans to their own unique goals.

What brought me here?

I’ve been a competitive swimmer and track athlete all my life. In fact, I come from a family of athletes and I know firsthand how much the body can degenerate from the consistent wear and tear of physical exertion. I have also enjoyed a full and competitive corporate career and know how working a 9-5 desk job in environments fluctuating from constant low-grade tension to occasional high-stress can slowly eat away at your mental resilience. I felt how it affected my personal life, how it manifested negatively in my physical and emotional wellbeing.

Acupuncture was a way for me to find my way back to rest and recovery. It made a difference when my body was worn down, and my spirit was tired. It set me on the path to healing and self-care. I’ve been fortunate enough to sample all that TCM has to offer, have had an active voice in my own recovery, and now I am determined to offer you the same opportunity.

My commitment to you

I pride myself on having a gentle touch and cultivating an open, safe space where you can feel comfortable and secure.
